OUR STORY
WE ARE VORTEX is a team with the aim of seeking architectural alternatives for the new lifestyles.
Through DOMESTIC VORTEX we propose a new domestic system that makes available to the user, a fragmented, multi- localized home in constant change. Our aim is the emerging group of young, semi-nomadic people, whose social relations are ephemeral and discontinuous in respect to the space in which they develop, and this new social group is characterized by living without establishing itself, which crystallizes the obvious need to find alternatives in the housing market.
To do this, we put together a physical-virtual platform formed by connections between people, events, places and objects, both physical-spatial aspects and socio-organizationals are involved.

OUR PREMISES
Encourage participation and develop processes in which users define or test undefined uses and materialize an architectural laboratory. We seek resilient proposals which can be prepared for change and articulators of possible realities, different from those already established.
SOCIAL CHANGE
Boost responsible consumption of existing architectural products to squeeze their full potential, through it we can regenerate or give them new meaning. Good management of the reality allows us to develop procedures that overcome existing shortcomings, achieving the maximum benefit, economic, social, cultural and environmental.
SUSTAINABILITY
Response to the need for an alternative in the real estate market that would allow access to a more adaptable housing. We intend to increase housing capacity of the now saturated cities and also an alternative generation of income.
MARKET ALTERNATIVE
OUR BACKROUND
We have been educated as architects, the way to approach the project is marked both by the values obtained in the course of our education as well as by the trends of contemporary architecture, where it is developed by and for the people. Following the economic crisis, architecture is being reinvented and transformed, it becomes necessary to use the observer and restless spirit that characterizes our training, to venture into other fields, complementing our knowledge and gaining ground so that our knowledge is transformed into social benefit.
The project began with a sociological analysis of these young semi-nomadic people, exploring the answers that as architects we could offer to their lifestyle. We conducted an analysis of their domesticities and of their integration processes.
